Since its founding Electrical Equipment has remained a business true to its reputation, and rich in heritage and tradition.  Starting as a manufacturer's rep firm prior to World War II, selling light fixtures and switch gear.  Continuing after the war when former owner Bill Smith sold the companies first fire alarm system in 1948 and began shifting the companies focus to alarms and signalling.


Following that time Electrical Equipment has developed a reputation as one of the leading building technology solution providers in the Midwest.  For over seventy years, we have strived to provide the skills, ingenuity, and integrity it takes to ensure that systems are furnished in the most competent, efficient, and economical way possible.

Today, Electrical Equipment looks towards it's 100th year of business and a continued tradition of providing the latest in integrated building technology solutions and superior service to our clients.
